2023-24 Vermont Legislative Session
Over the past two years, hundreds of AFT Vermont members rallied, met with their representatives, and testified in legislative committees to:
- End workplace violence in healthcare
- Fully fund a thriving Vermont State University
- Ensure a faculty and staff voice on the UVM Board of Trustees
- Expand Medicaid eligibility
- Keep our Planned Parenthood health centers open
- Institute a statewide Family and Medical Leave insurance program
- Protect workers’ rights, including through banning “captive audience” meetings
