Officers
President for Healthcare: Nicole DiVita is an Ophthalmic Technical Professional at UVM Medical Center and also serves as Vice President for Technical Professionals of Vermont Federation of Nurses & Health Professionals. Previous to becoming a Certified Ophthalmic Technician, she earned her Bachelor’s degree at SUNY Plattsburgh. A resident of Milton, she lives with her partner, two children and beloved dog, Cooper.
President for Higher Education: Sebastion Lury (he/him) is a Student Success Advisor at Vermont State University’s Castleton campus, where he also serves as Co-President of Vermont State Colleges United Professionals. A resident of Mendon, he is happily married to an associate nurse manager and clinical instructor. He is a proud alum of both CCV and VTSU and holds both a Masters in Business Administration and in English: Creative Writing.
Vice President for Healthcare: Heather Bauman is a phlebotomist at UVM Medical Center, where she also serves as President of UVM Medical Center Support Staff United. She is a resident of Charlotte.
Vice President for Higher Education: Emily Casey is a faculty member at the University of Vermont and former leader with CCV United Faculty. She lives in Orwell with her family.
Secretary-Treasurer: Claire Whitehouse is a research specialist at the University of Vermont’s Center for Rural Studies and serves as Co-President of UVM Staff United. Claire received her Bachelor’s from Wesleyan University and her Master’s in Food Systems from UVM. Claire lives in Burlington with family.
